The EMEA Finance Centre is a new organisation that will be created in Warsaw, Poland to provide Finance and Accounting services across the EMEA organisation. The organisation?s key internal clients will be the Country Finance teams for General Ledger accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable services as well as Business departments requiring contract setup and maintenance assistance. General Ledger handling Master data maintenance (Chart of Accounts, cost center structure etc) Project accounting Reconciliation (all balance sheet accounts) Perform sanity checks on accounts and the result of each local subsidiary Assist during internal and external auditing Close-the Books monthly, quarterly and yearly for the European subsidiaries Reporting (internal and external) Year-end closing Tax and VAT calculations and reconciliations Fixed assets register handling Handle the accounting for both active and dormant subsidiaries Support the European controlling function with information, data and reports on a regular as well as ad-hoc basisThe ideal candidate will be accountable for ensuring that all processets delivered by the SSO team meet country expectations for service and quality. You will also be well versed in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

As GL Senior Accountant you will be responsible for supervising a group of GL Clerks who will process closing activities for month, quarter and year end as well as ensuring they are performed accurately and on time.Responsible for actively participate and develop the Close the Books /Reporting process including:
